Tulsi Gabbard Isn’t What She Wants You To Think She Is

The Uniform Code of Military Justice is the statutory law found in Title 10 of the United States Code which governs conduct of members of the United States military. This includes all Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Space Guardians and Coast Guard personnel.

Tulsi Gabbard was a Commissioned Officer in the Hawaii Army National Guard for 17 years. Last year, she transferred to the U.S. Army Reserves, 351st Civil Affairs Command, based in Mountain View, California

She was also the Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District until she gave up her seat to vye for the Democrat nomination to be 46th President of the United States of America.

But, are all these roles compatible?

It is not my intention here to try to resolve that issue but rather to warn voters in the upcoming 2022 midterm elections as she tries to reinvent herself as a conservative.

Active duty members of the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy including U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force and U.S. Coast Guard, are subject to the UCMJ. When called to active duty, National Guard and Reserve Officers are also subject to the UCMJ.

Unless called to extended active duty, National Guard members typically serve two days per month and two weeks per year. The uniform they wear reflects upon the United States of America and the Commander-in-Chief who is also President of the United States.

A Congresswoman and a Democrat Presidential candidate has every right to differ with and criticize the actions of her President. But there are legitimate concerns about a National Guard Officer doing so whether directed at him in his role as President or as Commander-in-Chief.

Allegations of misconduct in this regard have been raised in previous campaigns with Tulsi Gabbard. She has of course, predictably, exonerated herself of any wrongdoing.

On April 3, 2019, Tulsi Gabbard sent the following in a tweet:

“Trump is willing to sacrifice the wellbeing of our country for his own selfish interests.”

This was made in the context of border security as part of a longer tweetstorm. I’m not going to go back and research all of her previous tweets and her nearly daily YouTube videos. Even a Google search would provide only anecdotal evidence.

She certainly has the right not to be tried in the “Court of Social Media.” She should, of course, have afforded President Donald Trump the same respect.

Respect should be given to the military service of everyone who serves honorably in uniform. I did my own time in the U.S. Air Force a half century ago during the Vietnam era.

Tulsi Gabbard has been in the Middle East. But her time in uniform in Iraq is one thing and her personal visit with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is something entirely different.

Certainly her actions as a member of Congress were impacted by her contact with the Syrian dictator. So was her rhetoric in the Democrat presidential campaign.

But whether she was able to perform her assigned duties as a Commissioned Officer in the Hawaii National Guard while disrespecting and insulting her Commander in Chief Donald Trump ~ and opposing his domestic and foreign policies as an outspoken critic ~ is something voters in 2022 should carefully consider as she begins to espouse pseudo-conservative views while opposing the Biden Administration.

She was wrong then as Trump’s firm stand prevented, not provoked, a war against Iran. Despite her years in uniform, she is definitely no military strategist. That’s probably why she found her niche in a Civil Affairs unit in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You may want to go to Tulsi Gabbard’s YouTube channel and look at all of her videos dating back several years. She says what she thinks her current audience wants to hear. She apparently has no core values. She presents herself as whatever she thinks will garner votes for whatever office she is currently seeking.

She has been in contact with foreign leaders, which may or may not include Vladimir Putin. As a professing Hindu, she has also reportedly been in contact with religious cults, including one in the backwoods of Washington State.

While she is photogenic and slick-tongued, there’s a lot more about Tulsi Gabbard that you don’t know than what you do know.

He has also been identified as one of the young world leaders recruited by Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum in their attempt to create a New World Order. Tulsi comes across as a rogue in virtually everything she does, but nobody really knows what lies at the heart of her agenda.

She has not yet declared for any office in 2022, but it’s obvious that she is elevating her profile nationally. Many conservatives have bought into her newly invented persona without looking closely into her background.

My best advice to you is that with Tulsi Gabbard, what you see is not necessarily what you will get if you elect her to anything. Do your homework before you accept anything she says.

She previously repudiated her former support of the sanctity of marriage between one man and one woman and apologized profusely to the LGBTQ community. Nobody knows what public policy she will flip-flop on next.

Her criticism of Biden is motivated by self-interest and political ambitions. So, was her condemnation of Trump when he was in office.

If you just recently became a fan of Tulsi Gabbard, you need to know the backstory. I hope this helps fill in some of the gaps.
